The blank carry-in method comprises an elevating step of elevating a stack 5 with a plurality of blanks stacked thereon to the take-out position Z by a stack lifter 1, a carry-in step of carrying in the blanks on a press line 30 by a carry-in device 20, and a transferring step of inserting a fork 2 along a lower side of the stack 5, and temporarily holding the stack 5 at the transfer and take-out position from the stack lifter 1 to the fork 2 by lowering the stack lifter 1.
