The blank inverting device 1 for automatically inverting a blank W to be discharged from a press machine 50 includes: upper and lower discharging conveyors (first conveying means) 2 and an inverting conveyor (a second conveying means) 3 for conveying the blank W; a bar 6 which is arranged orthogonal to the conveying direction at the position separated in the conveying direction from a blank conveying end of the discharging conveyors 2; a slide plate 17 which is movable straight in the blank conveying direction and its reverse direction along a conveying surface of the inverting conveyor 3, and has a stopper part 17b for receiving the blank W at least on the blank conveying end; a driving means (an air cylinder) for reciprocally and straightly moving the slide plate 17; and a detection means for detecting that the blank W is dropped on the slide plate 17.
