PURPOSE: To introduce a blank material to the prescribed position of dies and to prevent the damage of the dies and punch by concentrically providing plural blank material holding members to be protruded and energized toward the center of a blank material charging hole from the side wall of the die having the blank material charging hole so as to enclose the blank material charging hole.

CONSTITUTION: Sliders 32 each having an upper tapered surface 42, a lower tapered surface 44 and a perpendicular surface 46 easily slide only in the direction intersecting orthogonally with the perpendicular direction in the forging stage and, therefore, the blank material 48 is exactly and easily introduced to the prescribed position in the die 24. Then, the damage of the dies 24, 22 and the punch 50 occurring in the diagonal forging of the punch 50 to the blank material 48 is averted and the easy taking of the forging out of the die 24, 22 is available.
