Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a blank for sculpture which has the lightweightness and easiness for sculpturing particularly for education or hobby, etc., in home and is inexpensive.
CONSTITUTION: This blank 10 for sculpture is composed of a columnar or plate- like body of lightweight foamed concrete of a bulk sp. gr. of 0.45 to 0.55 and compressive strength of 30 of 45kg/cm2 formed by molding a foamed concrete slurry prepd. by mixing water and an admixture composed of a foaming agent, setting control agent, etc., with a main raw material consisting of cement or the like and fine powder of silica, etc., by a molding flash and curing and aging the molding by an autoclave.
