Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a rubber which can raise its strength without increasing hardness of the rubber on a surface layer of a blanket and obtain sufficient crosslinking density even at an ordinarily conducted vulcanizing temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A blanket for offset printing comprises an uppermost layer of surface layers of the blanket which is formed of sole hydrogen-added acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer rubber containing 73-87% of hydrogen addition rate or mixed rubber of the copolymer rubber containing 73-87% of the addition rate and other rubber.
