PURPOSE: To save the labor for screening of products and scraps and discharging of scraps by indenting a plate form blank to the blanking dies provided with a continuous blade at the bottom surface or perpendicular surface then letting an outside shape scrap fall from the blanking dies while the product is being sucked and held to the blanking dies.

CONSTITUTION: The plate-form blanks 1 such as laminated paper boards are fed, sheet by sheet, and are conveyed by conveyors 4, 4' which rotate at each feeding. They stop in the specified position on a pressure plate 6 and the conveyors stop as well. Next, a pressure plate 6 is moved upward and the blank 1 is pushed to the outside shape blanking continuous blade 10 protrusively provided to the bottom surface of the blanking die 9 fixed thereabove. As a result of this, the product 1a is cut out and an outside shape scrap 1b is produced. After the indentation of the plate 6, a valve 13 is changed over so that the inside of a suction pipe 12 is made low pressure. Following to this, the plate 6 is reset, and the scrap 1b detaches from the blade and is dropped by the resetting force of sponges 11a, 11b. After the specified time till around the end of this expulsion, the suction of the pipe 12 is stopped by the valve 13 and the product 1a having been sucked and held on the bottom face of the die 9 is dropped onto the plate 6.
