Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blast furnace operation method for quickly coping with a change in particle size of ore or nodular coke caused by fluctuations in raw material properties or the like.SOLUTION: In this blast furnace operation method a mixture raw material consisting of ore and mixed coke and lump coke are alternately charged to form a coke-mixed ore layer and a coke layer in a blast furnace. Average particle sizes of the ore and the mixed coke are measured to calculate the particle diameter ratio of the mixed coke to the ore. The charging range of the mixed raw materials is determined corresponding to the particle diameter ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
