Abstract:
To provide a blast furnace operation method capable of being applied regardless of a blast furnace structure and controlling a gas flow optimally in consideration of local stock profile.SOLUTION: The blast furnace operation method in which iron ore and coke are charged alternately from the furnace top comprises a measurement step (S1) for obtaining a measurement graph showing at least one of relationships between a position in a furnace radial direction and a gas utilization rate or a temperature at lower part of burden pile in the blast furnace, an identifying step (S2) for comparing the measurement graph with a target operation graph showing a relationship between a position in the radial direction and a gas utilization rate or a temperature in a target blast furnace operation, and identifying a position in the radial direction where a difference in a gas utilization rate or a temperature is 20% or more as a problematic position, and a charging step (S3) for charging the iron ore or the coke after adjusting a charging amount for a next charge so that the difference in gas utilization or temperature is less than 20% in the problematic position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
