Abstract:
To provide a tuyere for a blast furnace, which is excellent in heat resistance and wear resistance.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a tuyere of a blast furnace according to the present invention includes: (1) a step (see FIG. 1(a)) in which a first protective layer is provided on an outer surface including at least a tip portion of a tuyere main body by a build-up welding method; (2) a step (see FIG. 1(b)) in which a surface of the first protective layer is flattened by cutting or grounding; and (3) a step (see FIG. 1(c)) in which a second protective layer is provided on at least a part of a surface of the flattened first protective layer by a build-up welding method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
