To obtain a new bleaching agent comprising a peracid salt coated with a specific coating agent and an enzyme, capable of suppressing the interaction of mutual actions of the peracid salt and the enzyme at the starting of a cleaning process, effectively and efficiently using both the systems and excellent in cleaning effects.
This bleaching agent comprises (A) a peracid salt (preferably sodium percarbonate) coated with a coating agent comprising an 8-18C fatty acid (e.g. lauric acid), a wax (e.g. paraffin wax) or a silicone oil, (B) an enzyme (e.g. protease or lipase) and optionally (C) a bleaching activator (preferably aminonitrile) or (D) a bleaching catalyst (preferably peroxometallate, etc.). The content of the component A is 70-90wt.% and that of the component B is 0.2-5wt.%. When the component C is used, the component C is preferably used in 1-25wt.% concentration. When the component D is used, it is preferably used in 0.005-5wt.% concentration. The content of the coating agent in the component A is preferably 5-30wt.%.
