Abstract:
To provide a blind bolt for one-side operation free from loosening by vibration and the like after fastened and also free from falling of the bolt.SOLUTION: In a blind bolt constituted by assembling a bolt portion and a nut portion, the nut portion has: a female screw formation portion having an inner diameter to allow formation of a female screw by plastic processing by the bolt portion; and a hollow tubular portion adjacent to the female screw formation portion. The bolt portion has a female screw plastic processing portion, and a tip end portion extended from the female screw plastic processing portion. The bolt portion is inserted to the nut portion, and forms a fitting state to be fitted to the nut portion by plastic deformation at the female screw formation portion. In the fitting state, the tip portion is projected from the female screw formation portion, and an inner diameter of the female screw formation portion is smaller than an outer diameter of the tip end portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
