PURPOSE: To perform effective blind-proof treatment for scale surface, by coating paint on the entire scale surface engraved with scale lines and numerals and performing the removal of the paint and the unevenness surface formation at the same time after drying.

CONSTITUTION: The scale lines 2 are engraved on the flat scale surface 1, and after coating the paint 3 on the full surface and drying it, the polish agent 4 having greater particles than the width of the scale lines and the polish liquid 5 not solving the paint 3 are mixed and poured to the polish vessel 6. Next, by giving suitable vibration and rotation to the polish vessel 6, the paint coated on the scale surface other than the scale lines is removed and fine unevenness is formed on the scale plate by the polish treatment small in stroke and in high frequency between the polish agent 4 and the treated body. Thus, a number of treatments are made possible for the polish vessel and effective blind-proof treatment for the scale surface can be made.
