Abstract:
To provide a block copolymer useful in manufacturing a luminous element excellent in a luminance life.SOLUTION: A block copolymer includes: a terminal group; a block bonded to a terminal group; and a block not bonded to the terminal group. At least one selected from a group composed of the terminal group, the block bonded to the terminal group and the block not bonded to the terminal group includes a group obtained by removing one hydrogen atom from phosphorescent compound. The block not bonded to the terminal group includes at least two types of constitutional unit selected from a group consisting of a constitutional unit expressed by a formula (X) and a constitutional unit expressed by a formula (Z). When a total number of constitutional units expressed by the formula (X) and a total number of constitutional units expressed by the formula (Z) in the block not bonded to the terminal group are Xand Z, respectively, and a total number of constitutional units expressed by the formula (X) and a total number of constitutional units expressed by the formula (Z) in the block bonded to the terminal group are Xand Z, respectively, at least one of a formula (i):X>X, a formula (ii):Z>Zand a formula (iii):X+Z>X+Zis satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: None
