Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel polymer having good elasticity, excellent in weatherability, solvent resistance and heat resistance, and having good compatibility for both polar polymers and nonpolar polymers, and a polymer compsn. effectively demonstrating the merit of the polymer.
SOLUTION: This block copolymer contains, in its main chain, polymer block A, polymer block B, and polymer block C. Wherein A is a crystalline polymer block which is prepared by adding hydrogen to not less than 80% of the unsaturated bonds of a butadiene polymer block having less than 20% 1,2-bond. B is a polymer block having a glass transition temp. not higher than 20°C. C is a polymer block comprising a methacrylic acid ester unit or an acrylic acid ester unit, and having a glass transition temp. higher than 20°C. This polymer compsn. contains the block copolymer and another polymer.
