Abstract:
To provide a new polymer having good cosmetic properties, for example, good adhesion to a carrier (support) such as skin or hair, thus giving a cosmetic composition having good retention capacity.
The block polymer contains at least one monomer of formula (I) in a block having Tg of 20C. In formula (I), Z preferably is COO or CONH, R2 is a divalent 1-30C group, n is an integer of 3-300, R3 is hydrogen or a 1-30C carbon-based group.
