Abstract:
To prepare a block for producing a cellulose nanofiber resin composite to simply prepare a water-soluble resin composite of cellulose nanofibers from a dispersion of unmodified cellulose nanofibers, containing a dispersant.SOLUTION: Provided is a block for producing a water-soluble resin composite of cellulose nanofibers, obtained by freeze drying an aqueous dispersion of unmodified cellulose nanofibers, containing a polymeric dispersant while pressing the liquid surface to a bulk density of 0.22 g/cmor more. In another embodiment, the block for producing a cellulose nanofiber resin composite contains, as solids, 0.01 to 25 pts.wt. of the polymeric dispersant relative to 100 pts.mass of the cellulose nanofibers. The block, together with an aqueous solution of a water-soluble resin, enables simple and easy preparation of a water-soluble resin composite with little compositional deviation.SELECTED DRAWING: None
