Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the form of a seat to be varied in various mode of usage by forming a seat cushion and a seat back with blocks being combined.
CONSTITUTION: A seat cushion 1 is formed with blocks 2, 3, a seat back 4 is formed with blocks 5, 6, 7, and a head rest 8 is provided on the top of the block 7. The block 2 is made longitudinally movable on a slide mechanism 9, and the block 3 is fitted to the block 2 by means of a position-adjusting and mounting/ demounting mechanism 13a. The blocks 6, 7 are equally installed by means of position-adjusting and mounting mechanisms 13b, 13c. A device 10 is provided on one end part of both of the seat cushion 1 and the seat back 4.
