To use a block as a material for a fence and a building by molding the mixture of cement, zeolite particles and water while absorbing the odor of air and purifying air by the adsorption and ion exchange action of a zeolite particle group in the block.

The block 10 is constituted by molding or pressure-molding a mixture, in which green or baked zeolite particle 11 as cement and aggregate and water are mixed. Webs 14 are formed between face shells 12, 13 in the block 10, and holes 15 are formed among each web 14. The block 10 purifies air by the adsorption and deodorization of a carbon dioxide gas, a nitrogen oxide, etc., by the ion exchange action and adsorption of a large number of the zeolite particles 11 mixed in the block 10.
