To provide a clutch capable of quickly decoupling a machine from a motor when the machine operated by the motor such as a cutter becomes inoperative.

A centrifugal weight 16 moved radially by centrifugal force is arranged in a clutch 1. When the rotating speed is slow, power is transmitted to a driven shaft from a driving shaft 2 by little torque via a slip. As the rotating speed is increased, the weight 16 is moved by centrifugal force to increase frictional force, and power is transmitted by complete torque. When a cutter is stopped, no centrifugal force is applied to the weight 16 to cause a slip action, and a motor is not overheated.
