Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber assembly for implementing regioselective chemistry.SOLUTION: The present invention generally provides a fiber assembly comprising a first fiber that blocks a first reactive component and a second fiber that blocks a second reactive component. At least the first or the second fiber releases the reactive component in the presence of a releasing agent. Once at least the first or the second fiber releases the reactive component, the first component and the second component react with each other to form a reaction product. A related method for producing and using the fiber assembly is also provided.
