Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood circulation apparatus which is accurately measuring the flow rate value of blood in response to a change in characteristics of a patient's blood varying from hour to hour when circulating blood by actuating a pump.SOLUTION: An extracorporeal circulation apparatus 1 includes: an ultrasonic signal detection unit (an ultrasonic bubble flow rate detection sensor 20) that is disposed in a circulation circuit 1R, detects blood passing through the circulation circuit 1R by ultrasonic wave, and acquires a measured flow rate value of the blood; a measurement unit (a monitor measurement cell 70) that is disposed in the circulation circuit 1R and measures a hematocrit value of the blood passing through the circulation circuit 1R: and a control unit 100 that corrects the measured flow rate value of the blood acquired by the ultrasonic detection unit, on the basis of the hematocrit value Ht which is correlated with density of the blood measured by the measurement unit, and acquires a corrected flow rate value of the blood.
