Title:
BLOOD FLOW SPEED IMAGING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6427544
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain accurate blood flow speed images by preventing the overlap thereof, in a method for obtaining the blood flow speed images according to a magnetic resonance imaging method, by encoding a phase in a direction wherein blood vessels are not overlapped.

CONSTITUTION: An encoding inclined magnetic field is applied in the direction vertical to a set line RX wherein blood vessels BV21, BV22, BV23, BV24, BV25 are not overlapped so as to be turned to a slice cross-section and a reading inclined magnetic field is applied in the direction the same to the slice cross-section, that is, in the direction vertical to the slice cross-section. Wherein, a projection data wherein blood vessels BV21, BV22, BV23, BV24, BV25 are not overlapped is obtained and blood flow speed images V21, V22, V23, V24, V25 can be obtained. As mentioned above, there are a large number of blood vessels and a plurality of blood vessels are arranged in an X-axis direction and a plurality of ones are arranged in a Y-axis direction but, since encoding is performed in the direction wherein blood vessels are not overlapped, a spin (blood) flowing to a place separated from the center surface generates a signal and a flow speed is cleared on the basis of the distance from the center surface. In this case, since blood vessels are not overlapped, the blood flow speed images thereof are also not overlapped and observation is easy.
