Abstract:
To provide novel application technique of lignocellulose-containing materials.SOLUTION: The product that is an organic matter obtained by heating a lignocellulose-containing material in water or a hydrogen peroxide solution is applicable as a blood pressure suppressing agent, an anti-saccharification agent, a food and drink composition for suppressing blood pressure, as well as a food and drink composition for anti-saccharification. For example, a kenaf core is pulverized to obtain a pulverization sample, and (1) the pulverization sample and (2) water or a hydrogen peroxide solution are put into a pressure tight container. By reacting under the pressurization of about 1 MPa and in conditions of 170°C while stirring the content in the pressure tight container, a decomposition processed matter is obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
