Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a blood-separating member which can be inserted into a blood-sampling tube so that it can be inserted or removed freely, has an improved operability when separating blood, and enables serum and clotted blood to be separated properly.
CONSTITUTION: A title item consists of a cylindrical assembly 4 where three cylinders 2a, 2b, and 2c with different diameters are fixed in concentric shape, a main body 6 where an annular elastic body 5 is provided outside the cylindrical assembly 4, and a spherical body 7 which blocks an opening of innermost cylinder 2c.
