Abstract:
To provide blood uric acid lowering agents having a high effect of lowering blood uric acid concentration and production methods thereof.SOLUTION: A blood uric acid lowering agent comprises the extract of coffee roast beans. The total concentration of one or more components selected from the group consisting of 2,5-dimethyl pyrazine, thiophene, and 3-methylthiophene in the blood uric acid lowering agent is at least 8.8 mg/L. In the method for producing blood uric acid lowering agent, an extract is extracted from coffee roast beans that are at 28°C or less within 15 minutes after roast, and a blood uric acid lowering agent comprising the extract is produced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
