Abstract:

PURPOSE:To improve the oil separating performance of a chain driving system V-type internal combustion engine by preventing direct intrusion of the oil drops to an oil separator. CONSTITUTION:A chain chamber 5 is partitioned by a chain case rear 3 and a chain case front, and the chain chamber 5 works as a flow passage of the blow-by gas. An oil separator chamber 41 having an outlet 45 of the blow-by gas is formed between each first cam sprocket 11 of both banks positioned at the top of the chain chamber 5. An engine mount boss part 33 is positioned under the oil separator chamber 41 to cover an inlet 44 of the oil separator chamber 41.
