Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the strength of the broadside part of a blow-molded boat without increasing a material cost and the weight of a ship hull and to prevent the occurrence of a dent and formation of a hole in the broadside part.
CONSTITUTION: A blow-molded boat comprises a lower ship hull 12 containing a boat bottom part 11 and forming the lower part of a ship hull; and an upper ship hull 13 assembled to the lower ship hull 12 and forming the upper part of the ship hull. Both the lower and upper ship hulls 12 and 13 are a blow- molded boat consisting of a hollow body having a double wall structure produced by blow-molding. Since a ratio (H1/Y) between the height and the lateral width of the lower ship hull 12 is low, the thickness of each part is uniformized and the thickness of the outer wall of a broadside part is prevented from being especially decreased. When the lower and upper ship hulls 12 and 13 are assembled together, the inner and outer wall of the central area of the broadside part are brought into a state to be interconnected through two plates (a) and (b) and the part is reinforced.
