Abstract:
To provide a blow molding apparatus capable of ensuring the sealability during the molding and preventing breakage of a work.
In the blow molding apparatus for performing the blow molding by holding a work 3 by an upper mold 2 and a lower mold 1, the upper and lower molds have holding units 1a, 2a for holding the work 3, respectively, and projecting bead parts 2b, 2b are provided on the holding unit 2a of one mold. There is provided a cooling means for cooling parts in a vicinity of the bead parts 2b, 2b of the other mold more strongly then parts in a vicinity of the holding units 2a, 2a of one mold when the work 3 is held between the upper mold 2 and the lower mold 1.
