To provide a blower device to reduce a pressure loss of air supplied to an evaporator, improve the wind speed distribution of air flow, and improve air conditioning performances.
The blower device 1 is comprised of a blower casing 2, a centrifugal fan 4 installed in the casing, and an exhaust passage 8, which is almost spirally formed at the circumference of the centrifugal fan in the casing, and is an exhaust passage to supply air discharged from the centrifugal fan into an air conditioner for a vehicle, and equipped with a nose where to start winding and an outlet located at the most downstream side. Let the angle between the line to connect the nose of the discharge passage and the center of the centrifugal fan and the line to connect the predetermined position of the discharge passage and the center of the centrifugal fan be a discharge passage angle θ, the discharge passage increases in the area of an opening at a first increase rate as far as a predetermined discharge passage angle from the nose, and the upstream side from the predetermined discharge passage angle increased at a second increase rate so that the second increase rate is greater than the first increase rate.
