Abstract:
A fan unit 31 comprising a fan case 40 and a fan 50. The fan case 40 has an intake port 40a and a discharge port. A fan 50 is provided inside the fan case 40 and has: a holding plate 51 having a first surface 51a and being rotatably supported; and a plurality of blade members 53–55 provided upright on the first surface 51a of the holding plate 51. The fan unit 31 comprises a first flow path 71 that connects to the intake port 40a and is interposed between: an inside surface 42d of the fan case 40 facing the first surface 51a of the holding plate 51; an inside edge 51d of the holding plate 51; and two adjacent blade members. The fan unit 31 has an apex 53c of a first blade member 53 in the fan 50 housed in the fan case 40, that is positioned further on the outside in the radial direction than the intake port 40a of the fan case 40 and is covered by the fan case 40 (upper case 42).
