To improve dust-proofness and drip/water-proofness of a blower.

This blower has a casing 1, a shaft 7, supported by bearings 5 and 6 in a bearing box unit 4, provided at a center part of the casing 1, an impeller 9, a motor yoke 12, etc., attached to the shaft 7 and a stator core 17, provided inside the motor yoke 12. A part of the bearing box unit 4 is extended to form a chamber 21, in which a PC board 18 is housed. A connection terminal 19, protruding from a stator winding 16, is connected to an electronic circuit, mounted on the PC board 18 and an opening of the chamber 21 is covered with a cover plate 22. As the PC board 21 is surrounded by the chamber 21, it can be protected from dust and water.
