Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower capable of preventing a backflow phenomenon.SOLUTION: A blower 1 comprises: a base part 2 mounted on a ceiling surface L in a room; an electric fan 10 having a motor 12 fixed at the base part 2 and an impeller 20 rotating by a rotational axis C vertical to a mounting surface of the base part 2 by the motor 12; an illumination part 5 formed in an annular shape having a cylindrical cavity part 5b in which the impeller 20 is disposed and mounted on the base part 2 by forming a circulation port 3a of air between the ceiling surface L and itself; and a fan guard 40 arranged at a lower end surface of the cavity part 5b having a plurality of blades 41. The blower 1 blows air downward when the impeller 20 rotates in a normal direction G. When a radius of the impeller 20 is defined as R, length in the direction vertical to the mounting surface of space 6 above the impeller 20 which is at the location of R/2 from the rotational axis C is defined as D1, and length in the direction vertical to the mounting surface of the space 6 above the impeller 20 on a further outer peripheral side than R/2 from the rotational axis C is defined as D2, D1/R≥0.07 and D2≥D1 are satisfied.
