Abstract:
To provide a blower which can inhibit occurrence of noise caused by airflow flowing into a peripheral wall recessed part.SOLUTION: A blower 100 includes: rotor blades 11 which can rotate around a center axis CA extending in a vertical direction; a motor 2 which rotates the rotor blades; and a housing 31 which encloses the rotor blades and the motor. The housing has: a holding part 33 which is provided below the rotor blades and holds the motor; and a peripheral wall part 35 which has a cylindrical shape formed with a center axis located at its center and extends upward from a radial outer end part of the holding part. The peripheral wall part has a peripheral wall recessed part. The peripheral wall recessed part is recessed downward from an upper end part of the peripheral wall part and connects a space at the radial inner side relative to the peripheral wall part with a space at the radial outer side relative to the peripheral wall part. The peripheral wall recessed part has a first peripheral surface oriented to one side in a circumferential direction which is an opposite direction of a rotation direction of the rotor blades. The first peripheral surface extends from an upper end of the peripheral wall recessed part to the one side in the circumferential direction toward the lower side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
