PURPOSE: To facilitate the switching of the blowing direction and to maintain a substantially equal flow rate of air in both blowing directions, by providing a laminated impeller at a position between a guide operating section and a noze operating section especially in the close proximity of the latter.

CONSTITUTION: A laminated impeller 10 is disposed at a position between a guide operation section 7a and a nose operation section 8a and in the close proximity of the latter. As the impeller 10 is rotated in the direction of an arrow 24, an air flow is generated in the direction perpendicular to the lamination of sheet elements 9, so that an eddy current of a direction depending on the rotation direction of the impeller 10 is formed in the vicinity of the nose operation section 8a. In consequence, air is induced from a port 2 and discharged through a port 3. As the impeller 10 is reversed, the blowing direction is switched. Thus, the switching of the blowing direction is facilitated and a substantially equal air flow rate is obtained in both blowing directions.
