Title:
BLOWER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS55161993
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase the quantity of a wind while holding a noise down, by installing a blower comprising a crossflow fan, a stabilizer and a rear guide, at one side of a mount and providing a wind passage between the mount and the stabilizer.

CONSTITUTION: In a blower, a guide plate port between a mount 3 and a stabilizer 6 is removed so that a wind passage 10 is provided. Most of air sucked through a suction port 8 is blown off as shown by arrows C, D. An air portion blown off as shown by another arrow E passes through between the mount 3 and the stabilizer 6, namely, what is called a short circuit takes place. For this reason, a wind vortex a caused between the stabilizer 6 and a crossflow fan 5 is larger than that in a case with no short circuit and the efficiency of the blower is heightened.
