Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a controlling device of movement of a print head carrier which is inexpensive and free from a fanlty operation, by providing a power amplifying part which supplies a motor drive power on the basis of forward and reverse rotation motor drive pulses generated by a pulse width modulating part.
CONSTITUTION: A speed detecting part 2 of a device generates a rotational speed value SN4 and a rotational direction SN5 of a motor 94 from rotation signals SN1 and SN2 outputted from an encoder 95, and an angle detecting part 3 generates a rotational angle value SN6. A speed-angle comparing part 8 outputs a speed control drive voltage value SN7 or an angle control drive voltage value SN8 as a motor drive voltage value SN9 or stops output thereof in the case when the rotational speed value SN4 and the rotational angle value SN6 are within a prescribed speed range εs or εv and a prescribed angle range εx respectively. A pulse width modulating part 6 generates forward and reverse rotation motor drive pulses SN10 and SN11 from the motor drive voltage value SN9 and the rotational direction SN5, and a power amplifying part supplies a drive power to the motor 94 on the basis of these drive pulses.
