Abstract:
The device has a strip brush seal to retain a mounting portion placed in an outer circumference of an annular-shaped body that is formed by arranging seal strips along the circumference of a rotary shaft. Each strip retains a lifting portion (3B) constituting a radially inward portion of respective strip, and arranged at an angle to the tangential direction of shaft circumference, where the angle ranges from 0 to 40 degrees.
