Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and safely form a cut in a state of erecting a board by providing a pair of cutting tools with cutting blades facing in parallel with a guiding surface with which the end face of the board is in slide contact at each guide board of a case main body of a U-shaped cross section at a board cutter for cutting a gypsum board or the like.
SOLUTION: The board cutter 1 simultaneously cutting the gypsum board or the like from is both side surfaces is provided with a case main body 4 of a U-shaped cross section connecting a pair of guide boards 2 and 2 with a connecting board and a cutting tool 6 to be fixed to each guide board 2 and provided with a guiding surface 5 in slide contact with the end face of the cut tip part of the board and a cutting blade 6A. At the time of using, the tool 6 is vertically moved along a long hole 7 to adjust a distance from the guide surface 5 of each cutting blade 6A according to a desired cut width. After then, in the state of abutting the end face of the cutting tip part of the board 2 inserted into a blank onto the guiding surface 5, the board cutter 1 is horizontally moved along the end face. Thereby a cut is enabled at both side surfaces of the board by a pair of the blades 6A.
