To provide a on-board drawing planographic printing method capable of corresponding to digital image data, capable of inexpensively printing a large number of printed matters each having a sharp image at a high speed and achieving a heating condition necessary for obtaining sufficient printind durability with respect to fixing by short-time heating.

In the on-board drawing planographic printing method wherein a plate material us mounted on the plate cylinder of a printing press and an image is directly formed on the plate material by an ink jet system for emitting ink containing an olelphilic component on the basis of a signal of image data and subsequently fixed by heating to form a printing plate and the plate material is used in this state to succeedingly perform planographic printing, the heating and fixing of the image is performed by a heating roller.
