To provide an on-board drawing planographic printing method capable of coping with digital image data, capable of obtaining a large number of printed matters of a sharp image inexpensively at a high speed and generating no drawing defectiveness by especially preventing adhesion of stains to the surface of a plate material and a printing apparatus adapted thereto.
In the on-board drawing planographic printing method, a plate material is mounted on the plate cylinder of a printing press and an image is directly formed on the plate material by an ink jet system for emitting ink containing at least an oleophilic component on the basis of a signal of image data to form a printing plate and the printing plate is used in this state to succeedingly perform planographic printing, adhesion of stains or dust to the surface of the plate material is prevented when the plate material is mounted on the plate cylinder.
