To provide an on-board drawing planographic printing method dispensing with developing treatment, corresponding to digital data and capable of printing many printed matters of a sharp image of high image quality inexpensively and simply.
The on-board drawing planographic printing method mounts a plate material on the plate cylinder of a printing press, directly forms an image on the plate material of the plate cylinder of a printing press on the basis of a signal of image data by an ink jet system for discharging oily ink from a recording head by utilizing an electrostatic field to form a printing plate, and continuously performs planographic printing using the printing plate in that state. An ink tank housing the oily ink, an ink circulating system for stirring the oily ink housed in the ink tank, and an ink supply system branched from the ink circulating system and supplying the oily ink to an ink jet discharge head, are provided, and the ink is circulated to the ink circulating system to perform the stirring of the ink housed in the ink tank and the supply of the ink to the ink jet discharge head at the same time.
