Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a head side board or a leg side board in a bed removable, and to prevent the same from getting out of place carelessly.
CONSTITUTION: Board bearers 4 are projected on both end parts of the longitudinal sides of a main frame 2, and locking metal fittings 5 for locking on the board bearers 4 are attached on the board 3 side. The locking metal fittings 5 include a pair of hook-shaped members 7, 8 formed in such a manner as to be locked on pin members 6 of the board bearers 4, and comprise a stop lever 9 for binding the pin member 6 locked on the upper hook-shaped member and releasing the condition. The stop lever 9 is energized to take a position for opening an open path extended to a locking part 10 of the upper hook- shaped member 7 and a position for intercepting the same by a coiled spring 11. Thus, the board can be mounted on a bed main body by a simple work, and be held thereon without getting out of place and rattling.
