To provide a simple, compact, and inexpensive board transporting apparatus in which foreign matters such as dirt adhered to the surface of a board to be conveyed is effectively removed.

This board transporting apparatus comprises a transporting part 20 having transporting rollers 22A to 22D disposed at predetermined intervals along the transporting direction of the board 40 and a gas blowing/sucking part 30 for blowing out or sucking a gas such as air from slit nozzles 24 in the transport rollers 22A to 22D of the transporting part 20. The suction air and discharge air by a blower fan 31 of the gas blowing/sucking part 30 are alternately supplied to the transporting rollers 22A to 22D.
