PURPOSE: To enable a passenger to embark or disembark in or from an airplane or the like without being exposed to rain drops by providing a rain cover means above a door means opened to the outside of a body in such a way as to connect one side of the cover means to the upper end of the door means.
CONSTITUTION: An airplane body 10 is provided with an outward opened type hinged door 1a. In this case, a rain cover 2a is provided in such a way as to connect one side thereof to the upper side of the door 1a and to make the other side retractable above the upper side of the door opening of the body 10. According to the aforesaid construction, when the door 1a is opened for passengers' embarkation or disembarkation, the rain cover 2a is pulled out, interlocked with the motion of the door 1a, for allowing the opening or closing of an umbrella thereunder. Passengers are thereby allowed to embark or disembark without being exposed to raindrops.
