Abstract:
The present invention provides a ride-on exercise machine which, while comprising a simple mechanism, is capable of providing a user with a complex balance exercise (an exercise that gives rise to a sensation such as that when riding a horse). This ride-on exercise machine (1) includes an installing portion (2) for installation on a floor surface F, and a seat portion (3) which is provided above the installing portion (2) and on which a user can ride, wherein a rocking device (6) which imparts a reciprocating rocking motion to the seat portion (3) is provided between the installing portion (2)and the seat portion (3). The rocking device (6) includes a first driving mechanism (10) which causes the seat portion (3) to perform a reciprocating rocking motion in at least a left-right direction, and a second driving mechanism (12) which causes the seat portion (3) to perform a reciprocating rocking motion in at least a vertical direction.
