PURPOSE: To prevent a waiting passenger from being given an unreliable feeling, in an elevator in which a destination button is provided in a boarding spot to impede a register of a boarding spot destination call by the destination button to a story within a predetermined range from this story.

CONSTITUTION: Destination buttons 1A to 4A, 6A to 8A are pressed to call a cage by registering a boarding spot destination call, but a story adjacent to this story (for instance, 5th story) is sometimes inhibited from registering the call. This register propriety is displayed by putting out a propriety display lamp 6B. However, when call waiting cages 19A to 19C of a story (for instance 6th story) adjacent to the 5th story appear, register inability of a boarding spot destination call by the destination button 6A of the 6th story is released to light the register propriety display lamp 6B.
