PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin holding device capable of directly holding an empty bobbin conveyed by a conveyor, a bobbin setting device, and a yarn winder.SOLUTION: A bobbin holding device 110 includes: a reception part 112 for receiving a bobbin T conveyed by a belt conveyor; a bobbin holding part 114 for directly holding the bobbin T; and movement parts 116 and 120 for moving the reception part 112 and the bobbin holding part 114 together to a first position to receive the bobbin T, conveyed by the belt conveyor 70, by the reception part 112 and a second position different from the first position.
