Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform complete automation of a winding work for an optical fiber by automating operation to fix the tip of an optical fiber to a bobbin in preparation for the starting of winding of the optical fiber around the bobbin.
CONSTITUTION: In a bobbin 31 around which an optical fiber is wound, at leas one end of a winding drum 32 is formed in a conical part 34 where the diameter of the flange 33 side is increased. The end face 32b of the cylinder part 32a of the winding drum 32 is extended approximately at right angles with a cylinder surface 32a and the angle 35 of the end face 32b with the conical surface of the conical shape 34 is set to a cute angle to form the bobbin for an optical fiber.
