PURPOSE: To obtain the subject device capable of housing bobbins having various diameters in a magazine in regularly lying state by arranging a bobbin-picking- up member in a bobbin catch for longitudinally oscillating across the upper part of a belt guide for carrying the bobbin.

CONSTITUTION: In a bobbin-taking-in device of doffing device for taking a bobbin 5 carried using a belt conveyer in a magazine 14 by a bobbin catcher 4, a belt 1 for running the upper part of a conduit-like belt guide 2 is arranged and connected to a catcher arm 3 on the upper edge of deep side of the belt guide and the bobbin catcher 4 is provided at a position which does not interfere with a large-sized bobbin 5 when the large-sized bobbin 5 is carried through the upper part of the belt guide 2 and a stopper 6 of the bobbin 5 on the belt 1 is attached to the bobbin catcher 4 and a bobbin-picking-up member 15 is arranged in the bobbin catcher 4 capable of longitudinally oscillating the belt 1 for carrying the bobbin 5 across the upper part of the belt guide 2. Thereby bobbins having various kinds of diameters are housed in a magazine 14 in regularly lying state.
