Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin transport system of simple constitution capable of distinguishing any failed bobbin sensed inside a takeup unit and putting it aside.
SOLUTION: The takeup unit 5 of this bobbin transport system is equipped with a unit controller 7 to control the takeup operation, a failed bobbin sensing means 51 to sense any failed bobbin on the basis of the yarn information obtained during taking-up, and a bobbin exhaust device 17 to exhaust the bobbin B in the takeup position 16 to a bobbin transport path 12, wherein the arrangement further includes a bobbin ejection prohibiting means 52 to prohibit the bobbin ejection to be made by the bobbin ejection device 17 in those takeup units 5 other than the unit 5 where failed bobbin is sensed on the basis of a failed bobbin generation signal a2 given from the failed bobbin sensing means 51, and the unit controller 7 of the unit 5 where failed bobbin is sensed actuates the bobbin ejection device 17 of this unit 5 so that the failed bobbin B in the takeup position 16 is ejected to the bobbin transport path 12 while the prohibiting means 52 is prohibiting the bobbin ejection in the other takeup units.
